LUCADO ANNIVERSARY

Ralph and Chloe Lucado are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, May 23, 1993, with a reception in their honor at Oakland Baptist Church, where they are members. They were married May 22, 1943, at Camp Wheeler in Macon, Ga. The event will be hosted by their children, Wanda Hill, Sandra Consagra and Ralph Lucado, Jr., all of Roanoke. The couple have seven grandchildren. Mrs. Lucado is a homemaker and the former Chloe Bowles of Macon, Ga. Mr. Lucado, originally from Pamplin, Va., is retired from Norfolk and Western Railroad Co. They have resided in Roanoke for 49 years.
