OBIT CANTRELL, MARY ELIZABETH AMBURGEY

CANTRELL, Mary Elizabeth Amburgey, 91, of Christiansburg, died late Friday, May 21, 1993, in Radford Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late James and Rachel Amburgey and was the widow of Cam L. Cantrell, Sr. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Cam L. Jr. and Nancy Cantrell, Dayton, Ohio, James I. and Laurie Cantrell, New Port Richey, Fla., Bob and Mary D. Cantrell, Christiansburg; five daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Bea Puckett, Mrs. Geraldine Kelly, Mrs. Velva J. and James Wirt, Mrs. Emma J. and Wendell Young, all of Christiansburg, Mrs. Barbara L. and Ray Taylor, Wise, Va.; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Pete Flinchum, with burial in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Box 176, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Monday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
