OBIT LEGORY, MARY CLAY HUFF

LeGORY, Mary Clay Huff, 54, of Fairfax, died Friday, May 21, 1993, at Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Va., where she lived for almost 30 years. She was formerly of Roanoke and was the daughter of the late Frank and Katie Noell Huff. She was a graduate of VPI and Chairwoman of the Home Economics Department at McLean High School for 25 years, and retired in the fall of '92 from Woodson High School. She is survived by her husband, James P. LeGory; his daughters, Jennifer, Laura, Martha; a granddaughter, Shelby; her son, John M. McAlister and his wife, Pam and her children, Matthew and Melanie; her sister, Alice Huff Dunwody and her children, Dean M. Dunwody III and Cynthia Dunwody York. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Tuesday, May 25, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, any remembrances can be sent to the Katie Noell Huff Scholarship Fund, Colonial Trails Chapter, Colonial Dames XVII Century, c/o Mrs. Harold P. Kyle, 3411 Exeter St., S.W., Roanoke, VA 24015.
