CAL THOMAS TELLS IT LIKE IT IS

AT LAST, a worthwhile column for the editorial page of our paper. Cal Thomas' April 28 column entitled "Nation is forgetting its God" expresses in words what has been in my thoughts for some time.

The failure of many parents to discipline their children, teach them morality and respect for those in authority and, most of all, respect for God results, after a few years, with them, as adults, failing to respect their own bodies.

Stay, as I did, a year or so in a retirement home (I am told it is worse in nursing homes), and observe the lack of respect shown to those confined there.
