ANOTHER DRESSING DOWN OF ATTACK

I READ Sabrina Alderman's May 8 letter ("Can't justify attacks by attire"), and she has several points I agree with. Does the way someone dresses mean they should be attacked? If a male goes out without a shirt, does that mean he should be attacked or that he asked for it?

Everyone has a right to dress as he or she wishes, without revealing certain parts of their bodies. I hope one day we can live in a better world without finger-pointing going on. CATHY McBRIDE ROCKY MOUNT
