OBIT DAVIS, WILLIAM JAMES

DAVIS, William James, 59, of Eagle Rock, died Saturday, May 22, 1993, in the VA Medical Center, Salem. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Roy and Louise Ward of Portsmouth; two daughters, Ruth D. Vaughn of Richmond, Amber N. Davis of Eagle Rock; four sons, William J. Davis Jr., David F. Davis, both of Portsmouth, Robert D. Davis of Virginia Beach, and Clayton J. Davis of Eagle Rock; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Eagle Rock Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Forest Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 7 until 9 p.m.
