OBIT HYLTON, EDDIE B.
HYLTON, Eddie B., 65, of Vinton, died Sunday, May 23, 1993. He was retired
from the American Bridge Division of U. S. Steel and was an active member of
the St. Timothy Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Alice L. Hylton; son
and daughter-in-law, Col. Robert M. and Constance Hylton of Montgomery, Ala.;
three granddaughters, Courtenay, Annie, and Megan Hylton, Montgomery, Ala.;
sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and William B. Gibbs of Vinton; one niece and
one nephew. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday
with the Rev. Dr. Harold J. Uhl officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge
Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be
made to the St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 1201 Hardy Rd., Vinton, Va. 24179.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Vinton
Chapel.
