OBIT CAMPBELL, PETE O.
CAMPBELL, Pete O., 91, of Pilot, died Saturday, May 22, 1993, in Ridgefield
Nursing Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie W. Campbell; a
grandson, Walter E. Campbell Jr.; two sons-in-law, Floyd L. Bowles, Richard W.
Crawford; a daughter-in-law, Birdie K. Campbell and two infant granddaughters.
He is survived by two sons, Clovis H. (Sam) Campbell of Pilot, Billy O.
Campbell of Boones Mill; two sons and daughters-in-law, David W. and Tillie
Campbell of Roanoke County, Walter E. (Dud) and Alice Campbell of Roanoke;
four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lou and Barry Beamer of Salem, Margaret
and Forrest Bussey of Franklin County, Betty C. and Billy Whitworth of
Roanoke, Goldie and Clayton Alderman of Pilot; a brother and sister-in-law,
Robert L. and Thelma Campbell of Roanoke; a sister and brother-in-law, Mattie
and Woodrow Lumsten of Roanoke; 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 25, 1993, at 2 p.m. at the Lotz
Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. Fred DeVan officiating. Interment will be in
Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel after noon on
Monday.
