VOTING RIGHTS IN THE CHURCH
RECALLING the April 7 news article by Laurence Hammack, entitled "Charges
dropped, church rift isn't," the "rift" was over voting in the church, not
attending. The church has every right not to let someone vote on important
church issues when that person or persons have not faithfully attended for
some time. And it was never said they could not attend services, until they
defiantly challenged this very reasonable rule. People sure do read things
into something that is not there, especially when it's religious. ANGELA
