Every student on the campus knows him. Some look him up with problems like locking their keys in their cars and having car problems.
Keesee joined the staff in 1972 and became known quickly as the man who made students "walk the hill."
In the college's early days, there was not enough parking space on top of the hill where the college buildings are located, and many students had to park in a lower lot. There are stories galore about how students and staff tried to get around walking the hill, and how Keesee made them follow the rules.
Once he even cited a governor's bus for being parked in the wrong lot.
"An institution is leaving us in the retirement of Regie Keesee," said college President N. DeWitt Moore Jr. "We will miss his professionalism and personality."
