Angela M. Johnson pleaded guilty to the charges in Roanoke Circuit Court.
Johnson has been in jail since the night of Feb. 18, when she robbed the Uni-Mart store on Shenandoah Avenue at knife point and fled in a taxi cab.
When police stopped the cab about 4 a.m., Johnson confessed to robbing the store. Then she volunteered information about another robbery several hours earlier at the Uni-Mart on Gus Nicks Boulevard.
The first robbery netted $17; Johnson got $53 the second time.
After Johnson was charged with two counts of robbery, authorities learned she was involved in a Nov. 24 robbery of the Fairmont Grocery on Orange Avenue.
Johnson's attorneys had asked that her bond be reduced pending sentencing, but Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Joel Branscom expressed concerns that she might return to using crack if released. Judge Clifford Weckstein kept her bond at $11,000.
Johnson is scheduled to be sentenced in July, and faces a maximum punishment of three life sentences.
