OBIT BISHOP, WETTA VIRGINIA

BISHOP, Wetta Virginia, 87, formerly of 912 Jamison Ave. S.E., Roanoke, died Wednesday, May 26, 1993, at Raleigh Court Health Care Center, Roanoke. She is survived by a devoted sister-in-law, Elizabeth W. Bishop; one sister, Mrs. Mary (A.O.) Etter; one brother-in-law, A.O. Etter; three nieces, Miss Penny E. Bishop, Mrs. Susan Bishop Gilsdorf, Mrs. Betty (F.A.) Ferguson; two nephews, Donald C. and Richard M. Weeks, and their wives, Jeanette and Patricia Weeks; several great and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was retired from Riverside Cleaners, was a member of Belmont Presbyterian Church, the Rachel Rebekah Lodge #4, and Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. #484. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 3 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Elliott Hipp and the Rev. Henry D. Scoggins. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
