CHARLES A. CLEMMER, son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Clemmer, has been awarded a Presidential Scholarship from High Point University. Clemmer, a senior at Northside High School, was one of 62 scholars from 12 states and Washington, D.C., honored with this award.

Scholarship recipients will receive awards of $4,000, renewable each year if a 3.0 grade point average is maintained. Students selected are considered to be outstanding members of the incoming freshman class based on scholarship, leadership and citizenship.
