SKY-DIVERS DROPPING IN ON NEW RIVER SPEEDWAY

A team of sky-divers will jump into New River Valley Speedway in Radford on Saturday night to kick off racing activities for the Budweiser 200.

One woman and three men will land on the start/finish line at 7:45 p.m. The first race begins at 8.

A 100-lap NASCAR Late Model Stock Car race will highlight the racing. Also scheduled is a 35-lap race for the Limited Sportsmen and 25-lap races for the Modified Mini, Min and Pure Stock drivers.

Gates open at 2 p.m., with practice starting at 4. Time trials begin at 6:15. Admission is $8 for adults and $1 for children 10 and under.
