SCHWARZKOPF NAMED TO UNIVERSITY BOARD

Retired Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf was elected to the University of Richmond's governing board, the school said Thursday.

Schwarzkopf will join the private university's board of trustees on July 1.

He retired from the Army after leading allied forces during the Persian Gulf War two years ago.
