OBIT DAMEWOOD, SUSIE CARPER

DAMEWOOD, Susie Carper, 82, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, May 25, 1993. She was an employee of American Viscose and later with Roanoke City Schools. She was a member of Belmont Presbyterian Church. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including JoAnne Rock, Catawba; devoted friends, Nellie and Orrie E. Lee, Roanoke. Graveside services 1 p.m. Friday, May 28, in Sherwood Memorial Park. The Rev. Elliott Hipp will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel.
