OBIT MCCLAUGHERTY, ZURNA BRUGH

MCCLAUGHERTY, Zurna Brugh, 99, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, May 25, 1993, in a local nursing home. She was born in Botetourt County on October 15, 1893, the daughter of Lucian and Alice Luster Brugh. Mrs. McClaugherty was a member of Green Ridge Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Irving McClaugherty and a daughter, Zurna McClaugherty Stone. Surviving are a daughter, Jean M. Browning, Atlanta, Ga., eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services are pending and are being handled by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
