OBIT TRAIL, EUGENE LEONARD

TRAIL, Eugene Leonard, 83, of Buchanan, died Wednesday, May 26, 1993. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Stella B. Trail; a son, Donald Edward Trail; and his parents, James E. and Docia S. Trail. Leonard was a member of the Virginia Presbyterian Church being the Sunday School Superintendent for over 26 years. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Eugene and Sylvia Trail, Roanoke, Lloyd Preston and Karen Trail, Princeton, W.Va., David Bowman Trail, Buchanan; daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy Jane and Charles Chadwick, Oakton, Judith Ellen and Doug Reed, Buchanan, Sandra Hope Baun, Salem; brothers, Clarence E. Trail, Buchanan, Raymond Trail, Bedford; sisters, Julia Austin, Buchanan, Mildred Cox, Waynesboro; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 29, 1993 at 11 a.m. in Virginia Presbyterian Church with Gerald Stemm officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Rader Funeral Home, Buchanan.
