FIELDS, Elizabeth, 84, of Chilhowie, died Thursday, May 27, 1993, in the
Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie. She was a graduate of Mary Baldwin
College, Staunton. She was a retired teacher, having taught for a number of
years in both the Augusta County and Saltville Public Schools. Survivors
include several cousins and special friends, Betty and David Jackson,
Chilhowie. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the
Williams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Jones, Rev. Jeff Wright, Rev.
Frank Branson, and the Rev. Bobby Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in the
Beatie Section of Westwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends
from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Williams Funeral Home.
