The church is on Big Stoney Creek Road (Virginia 635) between Pembroke and Pearisburg, about one-third of a mile north of U.S. 460.
Survivors of recent military conflicts will read the names of those who died in battle, and slides of each will be shown. The nation's colors will be presented in their honor.

\ VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL time is upon us. St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2308 Merrimac Road, Blacksburg will offer a five-day program June 20-24, 6-8 each evening.
Using the theme "Living in God's Creation," the program has classes for kids from preschool through grade 5 and for adults. They'll serve a light supper at 6 each evening before classes start. Register no later than June 8 by calling Elizabeth Gross at 552-2154 or Julia Landis at 552-4775.
In the Radford area, the Presbyterian Church of Radford, Grace Episcopal Church, Christ Lutheran Church and St. Jude Roman Catholic Church are joining forces to sponsor vacation church school sessions that also use the "Living in God's Creation" theme. Classes will be at the Presbyterian Church of Radford at Fourth and Randolph streets.
There are classes for preschool through junior high students and adults. Registration runs through June 13. Call the Presbyterian Church of Radford at 639-2585 to sign up.
Vacation church school classes start June 27 at 5 p.m. and continue June 28 and 29, 6-8 p.m., and June 30, 6-8:30 p.m.

Warmer weather also means SUMMER SCHEDULES at some churches. The summer worship schedule starts June 6 and runs through Aug. 29 at the Presbyterian Church of Radford, Fourth and Randolph streets.
A church school gathering, with coffee or juice, fellowship, prayer and singing, gets under way at 9 a.m. each Sunday. Church school follows at 9:15 with the "Journey to Jerusalem" class for all ages and Bible study for adults. The worship service is at 10 a.m.
Summer hours also go into effect June 6 at Blacksburg Presbyterian Church at Church and Eakin streets. Morning worship will begin at 10, with fellowship and refreshments afterward. A nursery and extended session are available for youngsters up to age 5.

There will be an 8:45 service in addition to the regular 10:55 service, with Sunday school at 9:45.
St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 7318 Peppers Ferry Road, Fairlawn, will move to its summer schedule June 6, with one Mass at 10 a.m.
The church will continue to offer a Saturday Mass at 5:15 p.m.
\ PROVIDENCE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH on Wilburn Valley Road will hold a yard and bake sale next Saturday at 8 a.m. Rummagers can feast on ham biscuits, hot dogs and baked goods.

Southern gospel team BOB AND SANDY MULLINS of Second Chance Ministries in Christiansburg resume their Virginia appearances Sunday at 10:30 a.m. with services at the Salvation Army, 525 Commerce St., Pulaski.
On June 5 the couple will join other gospel groups and soloists at 7 p.m. for the Gospel Sing and Praise Rally at their home base, Belview United Methodist Church, 3619 Onyx St., just off Peppers Ferry Road (Virginia 114), 2 1/2 miles east of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant.
Among those appearing will be Sam Flanigan and The Womens Trio from Dublin Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The offering will go toward the building and renovations fund at Camp Alta Mons in Shawsville.

The TENNESSEE YOUTH CHORALE is coming to Radford. The community youth choir will present a variety of classical and contemporary anthems and spirituals June 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Radford, 201 Fourth St.
They'll also do some Broadway show tunes and interpretive dance numbers.
Members of the troupe will stay with Radford Presbyterian church families.
The Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church Youth Handbell Choir of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., will accompany the chorale.
