HEARINGS ON AGING PLANNED AT 2 SITES

Virginians will have the opportunity next week to tell the state how it should structure its programs for long-term care and other services to the elderly.

Hearings will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Ballroom, Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, and 9 a.m. Friday at Virginia Highlands Community College at Abingdon.

Speakers can register beginning at 9; the forum is to begin at 9:30 and run until 1 p.m.

Written comments may be sent to Long-Term Care and Aging Task Force, c/o the Long-Term Care Council, 700 E. Franklin St., 10th Floor, Richmond 23219.

Hearings also are scheduled in Richmond, Newport News and Fairfax.
