PEMBROKE BRIDGE DESIGN HEARING

The proposed location and design of a new Virginia 623 bridge over the New River and the railroad tracks in Giles County will be addressed at a public hearing on June 8 at 7 p.m. at the Pembroke Volunteer Fire Department activity building on Cascade Drive between Washington and Main streets.

Plans will be available for review at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will give citizens an opportunity to discuss replacing the existing substandard bridge and construction of the roadway leading to the new bridge.
