ROANOKE COUNTY REGISTRAR MOVING

Next week, the Roanoke County voter registrar will become the first agency to move into the new county administration building near Tanglewood Mall.

Registrar Elizabeth Leah said her office will remain open during the move.

Tuesday, the public can register to vote at the current office location, next to the county administration building on Brambleton Avenue.

The new location - on the third floor of the former Travelers Building at 5204 Bernard Drive - will be open during regular business hours Wednesday.

Roanoke County will move its other offices to the former Travelers Building this fall.
