LETTER OF THANKS TO RADFORD POLICE

So often we hear people say: "There's never a police officer around when you need one." I would like to say that those people haven't spent much time around Radford. The Radford Police Department is prompt, courteous and professional.

I own a business in Radford and recently reported vandalism to the property there.

Officers Bob Weaver, Kevin Smith and Paul Tickle took the reports, investigated and followed through on the case. Some might say they were only doing their jobs, but these officers went the extra mile.

They were extremely polite, professional and competent in their duties.

I would like to commend the officers on their performance. They are a credit to their department.

Chief A.C. Earles and Major J.W. Butler should be very proud of them as well as the rest of their officers.

The city of Radford should be proud to have such a competent, well-trained law enforcement team.

Thanks again for a job well done!\ Pat Harmon\ Radford
