Rachel Lynn Bangle and Scott William Waddell are engaged and planning to be married August 14, 1993 in Harrisonburg, Va. She is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. H. Max Landey of Roanoke and Pastor and Mrs. James H. Bangle of Marion. She graduated from Cave Spring High School and James Madison University and is a graduate student at Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Md. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Waddell of Harrisonburg. He graduated from Harrisonburg High School and James Madison University. He is employed by Washington Professional Systems in Wheaton, Md.
