BROOKS-PAGANS

Rebecca Lynette Pagans and Michael Timothy Brooks were united in marriage on May 29, 1993. The ceremony wasperformed in Jessie Ball duPont Chapel, Hollins College by the Reverend Gerald Stone.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. James Russell Pagans of Vinton and the late Mrs. Doris A. Pagans. She is a graduate of William Byrd High School and the College of William & Mary. She received amasters degree from Hollins College and is employed by Hollins College as a senior accountant.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlton A. Brooks of Glade Hill. He is a graduate of Franklin County High School and Virginia Tech. He is a certified public accountant and partner in the accounting firm of Kennett & Kennett.

Karen Duffy of Burke, Va., was the matron of honor. The bridal attendants were Jennifer Pagans and AmandaPagans of Salem; and Carolyn Cornettof Troutville. The best man was Carlton A. Brooks, father of the groom. The groomsmen were James R. Pagans, Jr. of Salem; Robert Arritt, Jr. and Anthony Robertson of Roanoke; and Scott Agee of Glade Hill.

The ceremony was followed by areception in the Green Drawing Room, Hollins College. After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will make their home in Roanoke County.
