HESS-BARTON

Laura Ann Barton and WilliamAndrew Hess were married May 1, 1993, at Faith Life Baptist Church, Montvale, Virginia. The Reverend William K.Rogers officiated. The reception was held at Montvale Recreation Center.

The bride is the daughter of George W. and Mary C. Haga of Montvale, and the late Msgt. Clarence William Barton; and granddaughter of Mrs. Julia Clingenpeel of Spotsylvania, Mrs. Mary Barton of Roanoke, and Lawrence and Mary Haga of Moneta. A graduate of Patrick Henry High School she is now employed byKrippendorf and Associates of Roanoke.

The groom is the son of Ms. Sara Bock of Fredericksburg and Mr. Henry L. Hess of New York; and the grandson of Mrs. Betty Greco of Florida, and Mrs. and Mrs. Henry Hess of New York. A graduate of North Stafford High School he is nowemployed by Four Seasons Landscaping of Montvale.

Tonda Deel was matron of honor, and Tameca Hopson was maid of honor, both friends of the bride. The bridesmaids were Toby Lucus and Mary Frances Chambers, friends of the bride. Theflowergirls were Mallory Reeder, cousin of the bride, and Sara Hoover, cousin of the groom.

The groom's brother, Henry G. Hess, was best man. Groomsmen were David Thompson, Kearn Knowles and Edward Lewis, friends of the groom. The ringbearer was Aaron Holland, cousin of the bride.

The guestbook attendant was Kelly Gills. Music was by Leslie Gibson, pianist, and Amy Bilbro, Soloist.

The couple will reside in Roanoke.
