MOORE ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Moore (Mary and Herb) celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary yesterday. Their children and grandchildren hosted a reception in their honor at the Red Lion Inn, Blacksburg, Va. Out-of-town guests were from Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, S.C. and N.C. Mary and Herb were married on May 29, 1943, in the Summerall Chapel at The Citadel, Charleston, S.C. The couple have two children, Janis Moore and Lynda Harris, and two grandchildren, Julia and Dylan Harris. Mr. Moore is a retired civil engineering VPI professor. Mrs. Moore was the former Mary Julia Kelley, of S.C.
