OBIT HANSBROUGH, JOHN TROUT
HANSBROUGH, John Trout, 93, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, May 27, 1993,
at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Roanoke and was the former
owner of John Hansbrough's Interiors. He was also a Fourth Degree Knight of
Columbus and a member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. Mr. Hansbrough
is survived by his wife, Maroe Munsey Hansbrough; two sons, Andrew J.
Hansbrough, Grafton, Va., Col. Jon J. Hansbrough, Arlington; two sisters,
Mildred Sammartino, and Mary Albert, both of Roanoke; three brothers, Lewis
Hansbrough, Roanoke, James Hansbrough, Charlotte, N.C., and Warren Hansbrough,
Altoona, Pa., five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the
graveside in Sherwood Memorial Park, 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Lawrence
Mullaney will officiate. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel from 5 to 7
p.m. Monday. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to
a favorite charity.
