OBIT MURRAY, MARGUERITE ZIMMERMAN

MURRAY, Marguerite Zimmerman, 83, of Botetourt County, passed away, Friday, May 28, 1993, in a local hospital. She was a longtime member of the Bonsack Baptist Church and the Bonsack Garden Club. Mrs. Murray retired from S. H. Heironimus. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Earl, and Frank Zimmerman; a sister, Mabel Farrell Morris; a great-grandson, Jesse Shane Martin. Surviving are her husband, William L. Murray Sr.; a daughter, Rose Marie Mitchum, Roanoke; a son, William L. Murray Jr., Roanoke; grandchildren, Amy Mitchum Lyle and husband, David, Dinwiddie Co., Va., Anne Mitchum Martin and husband, Shane, Roanoke; great-grandson, Jason W. Lyle; two sisters, Ruth Z. Correll, Blue Ridge, Clara Z. Wyant, Roanoke; sisters-in-law, Rachel T. Zimmerman, Waynesboro, Lonie F. Zimmerman, Roanoke, Grace K. Zimmerman, Florida, Evelyn U. Murray, Mayme M. Baldwin, both of Botetourt Co.; brother-in-law, Wilson Morris, Roanoke; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 11 a.m. Monday with Dr. Robert G. Moore III officiating. Interment will be in the Glade Creek Cemetery, Botetourt Co. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
