OBIT HUGHES, STEPHEN KELLY
HUGHES, Stephen Kelly, 35, of Christiansburg, died early Friday, May 28,
1993, the result of an auto accident in Montgomery County. He was a Plant
Engineering Supervisor for U.P.S. and a member of Main Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Anderson Hughes; two daughters, Holly Elizabeth
Hughes, Kelly Ann Hughes, both of the home; his parents, D.K. and Nina Hughes,
Christiansburg; three sisters, Regina Crumpler, Susan Flowers, both of
Roanoke, Judy Collins, Christiansburg; his mother-in-law, Gloria B. Anderson,
Christiansburg; sister-in-law and husband, Julie and Bryan Fentress,
Christiansburg. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 30, at the Main
Street Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Pete duPlessis with burial in Sunset
Cemetery. The family asked that anyone wishing to send memorials, consider the
Ronald McDonald House, 2224 S. Jefferson Street, Roanoke. The family will
receive friends from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Richardson-Horne Funeral
Home.
