OBIT DUNCAN, DORSIE ELWOOD

DUNCAN, Dorsie Elwood ("Woody"), 52, of Newport, Va., died Saturday, May 29, 1993, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was born in Giles County, Va., on March 16, 1941, to the late Dorsie Lee and Annie Louise Smith Duncan. Surviving are four sisters, Anna Jean D. Sexton, Emily D. Graham, Peggy D. Graham and Melva D. Huff, all of Blacksburg; two special aunts, Irene Vaught and Fay Vaught, both of Spruce Run; a special cousin, Andrew Duncan; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 31, at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, Blacksburg, with the Rev. Dallas Vines officiating. Interment will follow in the Link Family Cemetery at Maybrook. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
