OBIT HICKS, WILLIAM NEWTON JR.

HICKS, William Newton Jr. ("Bill"), 34, of 1619 Shamrock Road, Asheboro, N.C., died May 29, 1993, at his mothers home. Mr. Hicks was a native of Blytheville, Ark. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Ms. Carol Gallimore and Sherman Gallimore, Roanoke; father, William N. Hicks Sr., Denver, N.C.; sister, Jennifer Gallimore, Charlotte, N.C.; brother, Jeffery A. Gallimore, Roanoke; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Hazel Morgan, Asheboro, N.C.; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Clarice Sigmon, Denver, N.C. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. B. J. Willett. Burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will be at Ridge Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and at the home of Mrs. Hazel Morgan, 614 Worth Street, Asheboro, at other times.
