OBIT MULLINS, CARROLL
MULLINS, Carroll ("Smokey"), 65, of 106 Southern Oxygen Road, Greensboro,
N.C., died May 28, 1993, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. He was a native of
Franklin County, Va., and a member of Furnace Creek Baptist Church in Rocky
Mount, Va. Surviving are his wife, Mary Palmer Mullins of the home; daughters,
Audrey Mullins and Peggy Mullins Bellow, both of Greensboro, N.C., Barbara
Mullins Rich of Staley, and Nancy Mullins Crothers of Louisville, Ky.;
sisters, Ida Robertson and Eva Crouch, both of Eden, N.C., Pearl Merriman of
Fieldale, Va., Minnie Hodges of Stokesdale; brother, Alan Mullins of Salem,
Va.; two grandchildren. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Pleasant
Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rocky Mount, Va.
