OBIT-CLEMONS, DWIGHT REGINALD ("BUBBY")

CLEMONS, Dwight Reginald ("Bubby"), 66, of Route 3, Boones Mill, died Saturday, May 29, 1993, in the VA Hospital. He was retired from Red Line Inc. and was preceded in death by his wife, Freeda Turman Clemons. Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Sharon and Kenneth Taylor, Norton, Audrey C. Rickmond, Boones Mill; two grandchildren, Andrew Kenneth Taylor, Michael Shawn Rickmond; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Annie and Thomas Foley, Roanoke, Opal and Garland Wiley Jr., Eagle Rock; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Carlos Clemons, Boones Mill, Albert and Nancy Clemons, Shirley and Carolyn Clemons, all of Roanoke; special friends, Mrs. Annie Wright, Wesley and Elsie Wright. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. James H. Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials be made to the Boones Mill Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
