OBIT-SMITH, DAN SANDERS

SMITH, Dan Sanders, 74, of Seven Mile Ford, died Saturday, May 29, 1993, at his home. He was a retired employee of the Brunswick Corporation, Marion. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include his wife, Edith G. Smith; one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Ann) Lamie, Bristol; one half brother, Arnold Speer, Salem; one grandson, Joey Lamie, Bristol. Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Rose Cemetery, Glade Spring with the Rev. Bobby W. Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Williams Funeral Home, Chilhowie.
