CHILDREN LOST IN FOREST ARE FOUND UNHARMED

Two boys who wandered away from a cabin on the edge of the George Washington National Forest were found tired and hungry, but otherwise unharmed, Monday morning.

Steve Rodgers, chief of the Shenandoah Volunteer Fire Co., said 6-year-old Justin and 9-year-old Joseph "just walked along a creek for about four hours" Sunday evening. "When it started getting dark, they got scared and laid down and slept by the creek," Rodgers said.

Rodgers declined to release the last names of the boys, who are not related. - Associated Press
