OBIT-EDMONDS, CECIL JACKSON

EDMONDS, Cecil Jackson, 60, of Roanoke, died suddenly at Virginia Beach, Saturday, May 29, 1993. Surviving are seven sisters and two brothers-in-law, Edythe Edmonds and Audrey Edmonds, both of Roanoke, Ann and John J. Manderscheid, Chicago, Ill., Jewell and Leslie Rhodes, Roanoke, Sadie Hope, Norfolk, Bonnie Rodda, Orlando, Fla., Patricia Kinder, Kilmarnock, Va.; sister-in-law, Virginia Edmonds, New Market. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 10:30 a.m. Tuesday by Dr. M. Douglas Newman. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at West End Cemetery in Wytheville. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where the family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday.
