OBIT-ARMSTRONG, FRANCES NAIR

ARMSTRONG, Frances Nair, of Covington, died Sunday, May 30, 1993, at her home. She is survived by her husband, R. LaRue Armstrong, a son Rodney L. Armstrong, Jr., Plano, Texas; two daughters, Sally A. Bingley, Richmond, Beverly A. McLaughlin, Rock Hill, S.C.; three grandsons and a sister, Sara N. James, Spartanburg, S.C. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Covington, past president and member of Mountain River Garden Club, past regional vice president American Daffodil Society and on the Board of Directors of the Alleghany Arts and Crafts Center. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Covington, with interment following in Crown Hill Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Memorial tributes may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Convington, Va.
