OBIT FISHER, JAMES

FISHER, James, 73, of Boones Mill, passed away Sunday, May 30, 1993. Survivors include his wife, Della May Fisher, Boones Mill; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Albert T. Cook, Boones Mill; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Earl and Brenda Sue Fisher, James B. and Carolyn Fisher, Bill and Charlene Fisher, Thomas Nichols, all of Roanoke, Wallace and Dorothy Fisher, Petersburg, Va.; three brothers-in-law, William (Bob) Leftwich, John Ed Leftwich, Charlie Legans, all of Roanoke; five sisters-in-law, Margie Fisher, Petersburg, Dorothy Fisher, San Diego, Calif., Clydia B. Legans, Josephine Legans, and Irene Leftwich, all of Roanoke; 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with Rev. Connie Lee officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
