OBIT FOSTER, HARRY LEE SR.
FOSTER, Harry Lee Sr., 77, of Route 1, Rocky Mount, died Monday, May 31,
1993 in a Roanoke hospital. Mr. Foster retired from Baker Brothers, Inc. with
37 years of service and was a member of Germantown Brick Church of the
Brethren. Surviving are his wife, Doris B. Foster, Rocky Mount; two sons and a
daughter-in-law, Harry L. Foster Jr., Rocky Mount, Derise and Debbie Foster,
Wirtz; one daughter, Nerine Foster Clark, Gloucester; six grandchildren; one
great-grandchild; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances and Dick Vaden,
Christiansburg, Nancy and Basil Vasser, Tazewell, Wilda and James Stone, Rocky
Mount; one brother and two sisters-in-law, William G. and Clara Foster,
Roanoke, Helen D. Foster, Rocky Mount; his mother-in-law and
stepfather-in-law, Eulalia B. and Levi Jamison, Boones Mill. Funeral services
will be conducted Thursday 11 a.m. in Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren
with Rev. Fred A. Driver officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin
Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Boones
Mill Rescue Squad or the American Heart Association. The family will receive
friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wedndesday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main
Street, Rocky Mount.
