OBIT CRIGGER, NANNIE BRYANT
CRIGGER, Nannie Bryant, 80, of 650 Cove Road, Wytheville, died Tuesday,
June 1, 1993, in the Wythe County Community Hospital. Mrs. Crigger was
preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Crigger Todd; her parents, James E.
and Sarah Bryant of Foster Falls; and her brother, Charles of Roanoke, Va. She
is survived by her husband, John Fulton Crigger of Wytheville; two grandsons,
Elliott Todd and Michael Todd, both of Elk Creek, Va.; and her son-in-law,
Bobby Todd of Elk Creek. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. H. M. (Bessie)
Meredith of Pulaski, Mrs. J. E. (Mary) Chapman, and Mrs. W. V. (Maude)
Umberger; and one brother, W. A. (Bill) Bryant, all of Wytheville. Mrs.
Crigger was a member of the Wytheville Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Arrangement by Mrs. Crigger's funeral are being handled by the Grubb Funeral
Home, and will conducted on Thursday, June 3, 1993, at 11 a.m. in the
Wytheville Baptist Church. Burial will be in the West End Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, the family suggests donations to the Wytheville Baptist Church or to
the Wythe County Rescue Squad in her memory. Friends may call at the Grubb
Funeral Home between the hours of 7 and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 1993.
