OBIT MCCREADY, RUTH

MCCREADY, Ruth (DeBusk), 90, of Kingsport, Tenn., died Monday, May 31, 1993, in Sulpher, La. She was a member of the Mayfair United Methodist Church in Kingsport, Tenn. She is survived by two sons, Rodney McCready, Sulpher, La., Stan McCready, Kingsport, Tenn.; two daughters, Sena Edwards, Abindgon, Va., June ("Whizzy") Roberts, Merrillville, Tenn.; one brother, Bill DeBusk, Abingdon, Va.; one sister, Blanche Helm, High Point, N.C.; several nieces and nephews; fifteen grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 1993, in the D.R. Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Gordon Goodgame and Rev. James Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizabeth Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Friday evening at Henderson's Funeral Home in Saltville, Va., and hour before services. Memorials may be made to the Mayfair United Methodist Church, 1409 E. Center Street, Kingsport, Tenn., 37664.
