SHOW SUPPORT FOR POW DICKENSON

READING the May 22 story ("Dishonored vet fights to clear 40-year-old `lie' " by Douglas Pardue) about Edward Dickenson, it made me want to cry. A man who put his life on the line for all of us! For him to be treated like this is terrible.

While he was a POW, we were here going to ball games, playing golf or doing whatever we wanted to do, while he was living in pure hell. Folks, we all need to stand up for this man. If we went through all of this, what would we do? Look at the draft dodgers we have had in this country, then look at what he has been through. To me, this man deserves something. JOSEPH E.
