OBIT CRAFT, WILLIAM HENRY, ("BILL")
CRAFT, William Henry, ("Bill"), 62, of Roanoke Co., passed away at his home
on Tuesday, June 1, 1993. He was born in Roanoke, November 25, 1930, the son
of the late Emmit P. and Mary P. Craft. He was a retired test technician from
General Electric. Mr. Craft was a lifetime member, deacon, and Sunday school
superintendent of Belmont Christian Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy
during the Korean Conflict and a member of the "Sons of Confederate Veterans"
Fincastle Rifles Camp #1326. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Creasy Craft;
daughter, Jennifer S. Craft, Baltimore, Md.; son and daughter-in-law, David K.
and Brenda W. Craft, Satellite Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Hannah and Logan
Craft; brother, E. Preston Craft, Roanoke; sister, Ellen C. Harris, Roanoke;
mother-in-law, Virginia C. Creasy, Roanoke; sister-in-law, Barbara C. Holdren,
and her husband, BeBee, Lynchburg; several nieces and nephews. Funeral
services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Oakey's North Chapel conducted by the Rev.
John Wallace. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family
will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's North
Chapel.
