SALEM SHELTER OBSERVES ADOPT-A-CAT MONTH

The Salem Animal Shelter, at 1301 Indiana St., will hold its annual Adopt-A-Cat Month campaign this month.

All of the shelter's cats and kittens have been dewormed and have had their feline distemper vaccines. The shelter charges a $25 adoption fee, $20 of which is applied to the cost of having the cat spayed or neutered. Participating veterinarians also offer a free physical examination to cats adopted from the Salem shelter.
