OBIT SMITH, DOROTHY BROWN

SMITH, Dorothy Brown, 77, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, June 2, 1993 in a local nursing home. Surviving are three daughters, Donna L. Parks, Buchanan, Brenda (Susie) Morris, Salem, Diane S. Patrowski, Pittsburgh, Pa.; one son, David W. Smith, Roanoke; six granddaughters; one great-grandson; three sisters, Goldie B. Prillaman, Ruth B. Stewart, both of Roanoke, Frances B. Draper, Redwood, Va.; one brother, Ralph W. Brown, Salem. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad. A graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Richard L. Harris. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's North Chapel.
