OBIT-HAYNES, ERNEST ROBERT JR.
HAYNES, Ernest Robert Jr., 67, of Roanoke, died Thursday, June 3, 1993. Mr.
Haynes was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
and the owner of Haynes Floor and Wall Covering for over 30 years. He was a
veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife,
Edith W. Haynes; his mother, Sarah H. Haynes of Martinsville; one daughter and
son-in-law, Linda H. and Michael W. Christley of Roanoke County; two sons and
daughters-in-law, E. Robert and Andrea Haynes III and Mark H. and Debra A.
Haynes, all of Roanoke; two sisters, Eleanor Corns of Sandford, N.C., Sister
Helen Haynes of Richmond, Va.; thirteen grandchildren; one
great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints, Roanoke III Ward, 6311 Wayburn Drive, Salem, Va.,
Saturday, June 5, 1993 at 11 a.m. with President Albert F. Turner officiating.
Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive
friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
