OBIT-VOLZ, CARL G.

VOLZ, Carl G., 54, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 1993. He was department manager for Hechinger Incorporated in Roanoke. He is survived by his wife, Betty Boley Volz; his mother, Mrs. Mildred L. Volz, St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Joyce Uleck, Maryland; one brother, Ron Volz, Arizonia; two stepsons, Daniel E. Goodwin and Steven A. Goodwin, Las Vegas, Nev.; two nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel, 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5, with the Rev. Larry E. Sprouse officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
