GRIFFIN, Esther May, 68, of Rt. 6, Rocky Mount, died Thursday, June 3, 1993, in the local hospital. She was the widow of Harold Griffin. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Benjamin Pugh, Rocky Mount; one son and daughter-in-law, Randall J. and Kathy Griffin, Concord, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Aaron Holt, Joseph Pugh, Joshua Pugh, Jeremy Pugh, Randall J. Griffin Jr., Amelia M. Griffin, Constance A. Griffin; two sisters, Mary Smith, Colo., Rose Meyer, Ill. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. in Flora Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. Richard McDowell officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
